Recipes with Ojes Easy Palappam Podi
Make a paster of Ojes sooji along with this packet, and keep it aside till cool. Take coconut milk from half the coconut and add lukewarm water (total 700ml coconut milk or water) put sooji mix, coconut water mix, salt as per taste, and 500gm of Ojes Easy Palappam powder in a mixer and mix well for 1 minute. Recipes with Ojes Premium Pathiri, Appam Podi
Boil 8 tablespoons rava with 2 cups of water – 400ml – to make a thick paste and keep aside. Take 1kg of ojes appam powder, coconut milk of half coconut (400ml), a pinch of yeast, rava paste prepared, and 800ml water. Grind this for 1 minute in the mixer grinder with sugar and salt as per taste. Keep aside till the dough rises- normal fermentation time is from 8 to 9 hrs (fermentation period may vary according to the room temperature).
Boil 1.6l of water with 1 teaspoon of coconut oil and a pinch of salt as per taste. Add 1kg of ojes Pathiri powder into boiling water. Mix well switch off the flame and cover with a lid and keep for 1 minute. Put the warm mixture in a vessel and knead thoroughly until soft. Make small balls out of the dough and press them in the Pathiri press. Grill this Pathiri in a frying pan absolutely without oil.

Add 1 ltr lukewarm water to 1kg of Ojes white Puttu powder and salt as required as per taste. Mix well and keep it for up to 30 minutes. Put the puttu mixture in a Puttu maker with scraped coconut coconut. Steam it for 3 to 5 minutes till cooked. To make it softer. Recipes with Ojes Premium Wheat Aatta
Ingredients: Ojes whole wheat atta, salt.
Cooking method: prepare the dough by kneading Ojes whole wheat atta, salt, and lukewarm water. Keep it for 15 minutes. Take a small boll of dough which needs to be rounded and sheeted to a desired thickness. Place this on a heated pan. When the colour changes on the top and bubbles appear, turn it over. When both sides are done, use kitchen tongs to remove the chapati from the pan.
